Richard L. Barnett, DDS

Dr. Barnett attended the University of Utah for his undergraduate studies, graduating magna cum laude in 1983. He attended the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry for his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree, graduating in 1986, after which he completed his orthodontic residency at the University of Missouri Kansas City. He participates in continuing education to stay up-to-date with all areas of orthodontics and practice management.

Dr. Barnett has been practicing in the Richfield, Utah, area since 1989. That’s more than 30 years. He strives to provide the best possible orthodontic treatment in a fun and inviting atmosphere. He is a member of several professional organizations, including:

• American Dental Association
• Utah Dental Association
• American Association of Orthodontists
• Utah Association of Orthodontists
• Rocky Mountain Society of Orthodontists

Dr. Barnett and his wife, Susan, have a combined family of 11 children and a few dozen grandchildren. He enjoys traveling, watching the Utes, and all things Disney. Dr. Barnett is also an Eagle Scout, was a member of the Richfield City Council for twelve years, and a former president of the Richfield Chamber of Commerce and Richfield High School Booster Club.

We want you to feel comfortable in a friendly, welcoming environment. Whether that’s in our main office in Richfield or in our mobile “Brace Caboose” which comes to you at eight locations in central Utah. Jamie

Orthodontic Assistant

Jamie loves seeing the transformation and self-confidence that appears when our patients get their braces off.

She and her husband have two children. Outside of the office, she enjoys camping and hunting.

Jamie has been part of our orthodontic assistants team since 2000.

Tara

Orthodontic Assistant

Tara enjoys helping our patients achieve smiles they are proud of and excited about.

She’s our resident 3d printer and retainer fabrication expert.

Tara and her husband have 6 children as well as several grandchildren. She loves music and going to concerts. Especially Tim McGraw concerts.

Tara has been part of our orthodontic team since 2008.

Kimberly

Orthodontic Assistant

Kimberly helps our patients feel comfortable and at ease with her happy, fun attitude.

Kim and her husband are the parents of 4 children. Her hobbies include camping, fishing, 4-wheeling, scrapbooking, and spending time with her family.

Kimberly is our newest orthodontic assistant joining us in 2016.

Oh yeah Kim and Jamie are sisters.

Corina

Receptionist

The smiling face you’ll see when you first come into the office, that’s Corina. What an awesome receptionist! Corina started working with us in the summer of 2021 and is really enjoying getting to know our patients and their families. She quickly learned how to coordinate all of our busy schedules to help everyone work together to provide the best care for our patients. She likes helping people and wants to brighten each patients’ day.

Corina enjoys hiking, traveling, exploring & experiencing new places and faces.

Corina has 5 kids, 3 daughters and 2 sons, and 2 amazing grandkids.

Michele

Office Manager

Michele has been a part of our practice since 1999. She previously owned her own business. She loves her co-workers and our patients and their families. She enjoys watching our orthodontic treatment boost self-esteem. Michele wants our patients to succeed as they go throughout life and does everything she can to help make their experience at our practice as great as it can possibly be.

Michele and her husband have 3 children as well as 4 grandchildren. Her hobbies include scrapbooking, crafting, photography and enjoying the outdoors.
